I love my iPhone.
Really. Love.
But the battery life? Meh.
Being a Mom is one thing, but as a blogger and a community manager for several small businesses, I am always on.
I turn my phone on at 6am (fully charged) and by noon I am ready to plug it in again. Unfortunately, this isn’t always convenient – I’m not always near an outlet. When I am at a blogging or business event updating my social media accounts every 15-30 minutes and draining my battery, this poses a huge problem.
Enter the iCarrier.
This charger is definitely making into my Blissdom bag, along with the other New Trent products that I own.
About the size of your palm, the iCarrier has enough power to fully charge your iPhone SIX times (it charges any device that can plug into a USB outlet, though, so don’t think it’s just for iPhones). I can stick the iCarrier in my bag and use my phone while it’s charging. When the charger *finally* runs out of power, just plug it into an outlet and charge it back up.
This charger is awesome for blogging events and conferences, but it’s also great for every day use. It seems I am always wrestling it out of Michael’s hands – he isn’t one to remember to charge his phone.

Last week we had a long wrestling tournament to head to and I asked Jack to charge his iPad so he would have something to do while Michael was wrestling. The tournaments usually run 2-4 hours, so the iPad is a necessity for my sanity. He forgot to charge it. I pulled it out of our bag, gave it to him, and it wouldn’t even turn on – it was that dead. Thankfully, I had my iCarrier on me and plugged it in. I was nervous because they iCarrier was showing it was about half charged…
The charger allowed Jack to play until the end of the tournament – 3.5 hours.
This is why we carry it with us everywhere – you never know when you’ll need it, and for a portable phone charger to charge an iPad? It’s not common.
