Having a 12 year old who loves to be online and an 8 year old who can’t wait until he has a cell phone, I know about the issues that kids face today when it comes to mobile phones: bullying, privacy, over-usage, texting with photos, and more. AT&T has made a commitment to be a leader in providing education, resources, and tools to help families better manage mobile safety.
In a couple of weeks, AT&T is holding a virtual Mobile Safety School session that I’ll be attending. They are giving you the chance to attend, as well.
If you are interested in learning more, AT&T is offering the opportunity to one of my readers to attend a virtual Mobile Safety School session – along with a $50 VISA gift card!
The virtual Mobile Safety School schedule is as follows:
Oct. 23 at 1p ET – mobile safety for kids 8-11
Oct. 24 at 1p ET – mobile safety for kids 12-14
Oct. 25 at 1p ET – mobile safety for kids 15-17
I’ll be attending the Oct 23 and Oct 24th sessions.
To enter this giveaway:
1. Please leave a comment telling me what mobile safety issues you are concerned about. For me, I am considering disabling the photo messaging on Michael’s phone. I have seen first hand what middle school students do with photos on their cell phones and would like to stop this issue in our house before it even begins.
For a second entry:
2. Please let me know in the comments section which session you would like to attend.

This giveaway will end on Thursday, October 18th at midnight, and I will choose a winner by Friday, October 19.
Good luck!

I was compensated for my participation in the AT&T Mobile Safety School campaign. AT&T is providing one of my readers with a $50 gift card and a spot in one of their virtual Mobile Safety School session. As always, I will never share something with you that I don’t believe in.
