This is going to be a short and sweet lesson.
Because my fingers hurt.
When attempting to be all fancy and make homemade green chili enchilada sauce,
do take lots of pictures to show off your chili and tomatillo roasting skillzzz:
but don’t attempt to de-seed the chilies without wearing gloves. Because even if you don’t think they’re hot, you might be unpleasantly surprised:
You will soon have to put your camera down and grab a bowl full of milk to soak your poor little fingers in:
And your 10 year old might laugh at you while taking your picture.
And p.s. The milk? Doesn’t help.

Yeow-ouch! I hope the enchiladas were worth the pain.

But the milk bowl almost matches your green top and the green chilies. :-)
Yum!! My mouth is watering. (Sorry the milk didn’t work.)
OH NO! That sounds delicious though!

Never heard of holding fingers in milk, but the tomatoes and chilis sure looked good! Oh, and your green shirt sure is cute. =) Thanks for linking up!

Ouch! Maybe next time you could use the plastic gloves that food service workers use. In any case, they looked delicious!

Oh no! Ouch! It could be worse though – my friend learned the hard way not to rub your eyes while peeling chilies! Ouch!
