The first day of school brought new backpacks,
new sneakers,
new friends,
new hopes,
and new experiences.
Michael proclaimed that his 5th grade teacher is the “best teacher ever!… well, she’s tied with last year’s teacher.”
and Jack’s first (and second) day of kindergarten began with some tears, but ended on a great note.
Here’s to a wonderful, memory filled year for us all!
Due to the start of school and work for the year, I am taking a mini-blog vacation. I’m thinking 2 weeks will be enough time to get our routines started and relax a bit.

Ok, so this totally makes up for the pool thing last March or so. We don’t start school for 6 more weeks or so, the kids saw this and got all upset thinking it started sooner lol.
