Thank you.
Thanks for being a great Dad.
And for giving me a happy childhood.
And wonderful memories.
And a deep love for Bob Segar :)
And tuna casserole.
Thanks for teaching me what kind of meat and produce is best.
And what to never skimp on at the grocery store.
Thanks for being such a great Grandpa (not to be confused with a Great-Grandpa).
The kind that’s not afraid to be silly with the boys (and wake up with leprechaun tattoos on his forehead).
Thanks for being the kind of Dad who is proud of me.
And everything I do.
Even when I do the wrong thing.
Thanks for treating me like a brain surgeon, though I’m “just” a Mom and a Speech teacher.
Happy Father’s Day, Dad.
I love you!

Becca, what a great tribute to your Dad. but he really isn’t all THAT great you know. You got to move away and I am still living with him. ;-)
Anyway, his is very proud of you in every way.
Gramma Teetsie’s comment? FUNNY!!!! She’s a riot. That was a super tribute for your dad.
Great tribute to your Dad! OMG! The picture of you with your Dad when you were about 4…I see a LOT of Michael in you! Or more appropriately, I see a lot of you in Michael when he was about 3 or 4. I never knew!! Pretty damn cute! (both of you!)
that was so nice Becc, he is a great guy!
Becca, when I look at that px of you…can I just tell you; you were so bad at that age, so bad! OMG, and you turned out to be soooo incredible! Somebody did something so right!

Were you in ROTC in high school – or did you join the military during/after college? I can’t remember.
