Did you go on a photo walk today?
See that heart in Arizona? That’s a town called Bisbee.
I was there today for the I Heart faces photo walk, and it was a blast!
Here are some pictures that I took.
Bisbee is a small artsy town about 90 minutes south of Tucson. Our I Heart Faces group met up at a local restaurant, walked around the hills of Bisbee for 2 hours, took an enormous amount of pictures, and then ate lunch together afterwards. Phew!
I’d like to mention quickly that a) It was 100 degrees today 2) Bisbee is known for their hills and stairs running through the entire city.
What an experience!
The people there were so friendly, and quite a few came out of their houses to say hello and ask why 30 people were walking around their streets with cameras.
Also, a super friendly local business and blogger stayed in the loop through Twitter, welcoming us to Bisbee and following our walk through pictures.
I’m looking forward to going to back to Bisbee in October for the Bisbee 1000 – It might be cooler then, but I have a feeling the hills and stairs will feel a little steeper.

Love the pictures can’t believe you got as close as you did to those damn bees though. Bet it was lots of fun.
Have fun on the stairs. I’ll see if I can’t talk Bob into the Blues Festival instead … ! :)

Lovely photos! It makes the high 80′s we had for Sacramento’s IHFwalk seem like nothing! Sounds like a spectacular town!

Those are GREAT!! We had to much fun on our walk in Austin, Texas too!! I hope they do this again real soon!!

I always enjoy coming over to your blog and perusing through. You do have a wonderful eye for pictures and they look beautiful. I don’t have that talent but admire those who do. You should work for a magazine! What’s funny is I take pictures for a living! I’m a Cat Scan Technologist..which makes this ever funnier that I can’t take good pics! I take great pics of bones and organs! Certainly, not the same.
