It happened this weekend.
Spring turned to summer.
I don’t know exactly when it happened, but it actually feels like summer now.
We had a busy, but uneventful weekend.
We picked our first home grown tomatoes.
Michael and his friend set up their first lemonade stand of the year.
The kids were in the pool for hours each day.
And had serious pool hair when they finally got out :)
They ate sno cones with their friends.
And wrestled in the backyard.
But the best part about summer?
The s’mores.
Definitely the s’mores.

There’s just something so great about summer!! I hope Michael and Jacob have a lemonade stand when we come to visit. A couple weeks ago, some kids set up a lemonade stand here on the bike path. I just had to stop and buy some. It made me think of my nephews in AZ and wondering if they were going to have a stand of their own, and here they are! Thanks for the pics. Love you.

mmmmmm I would love to send them the big huge new marshmallows I saw in the store yesterday but. we have tried sending them boxes in the middle of summer and if I remember right they were all melted together. And lemonade stands? They are definately a thing of the past here. Haven’t seen one in years. And besides, I think half of the kids in town would probably spit in ours. Have a wonderful summer boys. I love you and hope you make lots of $$ selling that lemonade.

Yes, it definitely FEELS like summer. I think it was 105 today. Sweltering.
But it looks like you’re taking the heat in stride and making plenty of happy memories. That’s awesome!
