Since the boys have been addicted to marbles lately, I thought it was perfect timing when I received an offer in my inbox to review light-up marble race cars.
Cars, marbles, and anything that lights up… 3 things that my boys go crazy over.
We had a couple of friends (girls!) over when we got the box in the mail and the kids went to town…
They had 6 different cars.
A volcano theme, a police car, and confetti theme, just to name a few…
The best thing about the cars? (I asked.)
By far, the decorating. (They all answered.)
Each car came with a set of decals that made it look like a race car.
The 4 year old had the hardest time decorating, but still loved it. She needed just a little help.
The 5 year olds did great by themselves.
And the 9 year old?
He loved the cars, too… but asked me to not post the picture I took of him :)
His favorite thing about the cars was that the large marble inside of each car stopped the car from tipping over when he raced it and made it spin around.

Mom’s Honest opinion?
Super fun toy – The boys are still playing with them after 2 weeks (especially at night).
I don’t know that I would pay $7.99 a piece, so I would be more inclined to take advantage of the BOGO offer.
I love that the stickers kept them busy for 10-15 minutes, then the car itself kept them playing for longer.
Great toy, great idea.

I am not responding to win the cars – although it will keep Poppa busy for hours and he would probably build a racetrack out in back to play with them. But that means all his friends will come over and I can’t just feed them P&J – they are more in to steak, ribs, etc. etc. and then the cars would cost a mint and it wouldn’t be worth it.
But what a great idea if you have children. It will really keep them occupied for hours at a time. Good luck to all you parents out there.
I like things that light up so I don’t step on them during the night and saying words like “zstyfghtwqkk”! I like those cars…
