A quick apology… of sorts.

May 5, 2010

It seems like for a couple of weeks the blog has… maybe not lost focus, but broadened it’s focus a bit…

And I wanted to apologize for my lack of posting about these guys:

And tell you a quick story:

Jack: “Mom, why are you talking about lip bombs?”

Michael: “She’s talking about lip balm, Jack.”

Jack: “Yeah, it’s funny, because bombs go… peeeeeerrrrrrrrr….. BOMB! and your lips don’t do that.”

Michael: “Yeah, Jack, it’s not like…”

Mom: “Guys. Stop. Michael, it’s not even worth getting worked up over. It’s Jack, you know.”

Michael: “Yeah…”

And my head was just used as a landing pad for an RC helicopter… so off I go.

That Jack is HILARIOUS!!!!!! That sounds like something I’ve said to Gary on several occasions! :)

glad to hear not much has changed, LOL!

I need to remember that last line, “Girls. stop. Amanda, it’s not worth getting worked up over. It’s Susan. You know.”

I have two boys and in the day…your conversation sounds like what ours used to be…but they grew up!!! Well…Somewhat…they still sometimes act like silly boys; but I wouldn’t want it any other way. That is what makes us laugh…when they can reach inside themselves and be that kid again, even for a minute. ENJOY these conversations :):) I enjoyed reading it!

LOL – you can use that line with my kid too (just about any of them). They all have their own little quirks.

I love the fact that you talk about those boys like we are sitting right there in the room listening to that conversation. I just wish i could be there and he could have used my head as a landing pad………..so thanks for bringing them back. And Chelsea is right about the book thing.
