Please send me your address before Tuesday afternoon 5/11!
I don’t usually advertise on my blog.
And I’m proud of that.
If there’s something amazing that I want to promote on my blog, I write about it.
And though I would love to give away everything that I promote, I can’t.
Well, usually I can’t.
I contacted Twist & Pout about their lip balm because I picked some up in Hawaii and fell in love with it.
They offered me 50 lip balms to give away this past weekend at Bloggy Boot Camp.
{The bloggers loved them!}
And they offered me 10 gift bags {with 3 lip balms each) to give away for Mother’s Day!
Look at their newest collection:
Twist & Pout is trying to get to 1,000 Facebook followers before Memorial Day – Can you help them?
My personal favorites? The red and the teal ones. They’re adorable.
Twist & Pout lip balm has SPF, is natural, and lasts forever.
Well, maybe not forever, but you know what I mean.
I love that it clips to the zipper on my purse so that I don’t have to dig for it every time I need it.
Because I may or may not have dumped the contents of my purse a time or two looking for my lip balm.
So… to enter to win one of the ten gift packs for Mother’s Day, leave a me a comment and tell me which one of those lip balms up there is your favorite. (They’ll be sent out randomly though, so the one you get may not be your favorite)
I also want you to tell me one thing that you love about your Mom (it’s Mother’s Day, you know!)
I’ll start:
Hi. I’m Becca. My favorite is the red one. And the teal one. And I love that my Mom and I talk every single day.
The contest will end on Mother’s Day so hurry up and enter!
Ready, Set, Go!

Hi It’s Diane and definitely the red one – CFA Color! My Mom spends time with my kids individually helping them to learn to cook, sew, whatever interests them. and it blesses me.
Hey Becca! I’m Jenny :) We talk on Twitter… Anywho, I love the aqua and the black and grey. I love that my Mom is crazy fun.
Hi, I’m Leigh. I love the green one! I love my mom because she is one of the most beautiful women I know (from the inside and out). She’s 82 and she continues to be a huge model for how to live your life to the fullest.
I think that they are all very cute. So I really have no favorite as they all are all great. I loved my mom but she is no longer here with us. She was a wonderful friend and just the best mom. But I would like to wish all moms the most wonderful mother’s day.
Hi! I think that my favorite is the white one, in the bottom left corner. Although, I love them all.
One of the many {many} things I love about my mom is that she still makes me call her when I get home, even if I’m out late. I’m 30 years old and she still “waits up for me,” only via phone call rather than in person.
Remember when I met you around 9:30pm or so after driving to Phoenix for Bloggy Boot Camp? Don’t think that I wasn’t talking to my mom as I walked in the door to the restaurant so she’d know I was there safe. Calling in the parking lot wasn’t enough. I had to be in. the. door.
I love that :)
Awesome giveaway!

I want more of these! So cute. Okay. I’m melanie and my favorite is the black & silver. My mom is such a giver. I love that she will jump in and help with anything when she visits – taking the kids to school, helping me with orders….even cleaning and laundry. :-)
I love the black and silver one! My name is Ali, and I love that my mom gave me life before hers was taken a short 16 months later. Happy Mother’s Day, everyone!
I like the red, purple, and white ones… but not necessarily in that order.
Okay, to pick only ONE thing I love about my mom is hard. But, I will go with the fact that she is a great listener. I talk to her about nearly everything.

Hi I’m Suzanne and I love the red one and the black and grey one. My mom is the best. I love that she and my dad bought a house here to spend 6 months of the year with my family. It means so much to me!
Hi, I’m Carol, and I love the swirly turquoise one. I love that my mom taught me to be a frugal shopper.
i love the black and grey one :) i love that my mom taught me that i can do anything i want!
I found your example very helpful for those of us who don’t really read instructions. :)
Hi, I’m Eileen. I like the red one and the blue swirly one (teal?). I love that my mom is the most selfless person I know.

Hi Becca!
I like the green one in the bottom right corner!
One of the many things that I love about my mom is she always wanted and wants to know every detail of my day. Her most notorious quote is, “what was your favorite part of your day?” and it led to numerous conversations around the dinner table!

Hi. I’m Aunt Jen. My fave is the white one that looks like the sea urchin shell. My Mom lives in heaven now, but I know she looks out for me from heaven. I have, however, been blessed with an AWESOME mother in law who calls me when my husband is on call at the hospital to say goodnight. And remind me not to open the door to strangers, make sure my windows are closed and all doors locked, and of course to make sure the alarm is set. :)
Hi my name is Neyda, my fav is the black & champange colored balm. The best thing about my mom is that everyday she is a fighter & inspiration. She has the best smile & laugh & gives the best hugs!!
Well, I am Becca’s Mom and my Mom is celebrating Mother’s Day with my Dad up in heaven. I was lucky enough not only to talk to Mom everyday but I lived right down the road and spent most of my time with her. I was one of the lucky ones. She might not be right here holding my hand every day, but I know she is right there when I need her the most. I miss her more than anything but I hope that every Mother, Grandmother, Mother To Be has a wonderful day. Especially you Bec, because some day I, too, will be there when you need me the most. And I also know my Mom is very proud of you and the Mom you have become
Hi Becca, it’s Lainie. I love the apple green on in the bottom right corner. I love my Mom because she forced herself to be strong for her kids. She is a great role model of how jump any and every hurdle that life throws your way. I only hope I jump as often, as high and as graciously as she did throughout my childhood.
I really love these and think are so cool!! The green and red ones are my favorite. I love my mom because she is strong and bada$$ (she used to be in the Navy SEALS when there were very few women) and she doesn’t back down on things she believes.

Hi! My name is Amanda and I love the pearly white and pink Twist and Pout because it looks like a little sea shell. I also love the black and grey one because it would go with everything. I love that my mom is my best friend and that she already knows everything about me and I know everything about her. We talk everyday and she is great with advice. I know she would love some Twist and Pout for Mother’s Day. Thanks!
Hi, I’m Kim. I love the pink and orange one – definitely makes a fashion statement! My mom rocks because she is ALWAYS there for me. I love to hang with her, shopping, chatting, whatever – we always have such a great time together and she means the world to me! Thank god everyday I am lucky enough to have her!!
I really love these too! Not only is the balm terrific – but I am a firm believer in the importance of presentation and packaging!!!!! They’re soooo pretty. I like the blue swirl-y one! One thing (of the thousands) that I love about my mom is that we can talk on the phone every day, for over an hour, and NEVER run out of things to talk about – whether it’s events going on in our lives, special things my son has done or said, or we can even discuss a pair of shoes or my current hair color for quite some time! We can cover sometimes fifty different subjects, no matter what they are (lipgloss, giftwrapping, flip-flops, tote bags to political issues) and we switch subjects quickly and always know what each other are thinking. When we are together – just a certain look at each other about something going on wherever we are can send us into hillarious laughter. My parents have always been great role models and I can only hope that I do as good a job with my son as they did with my brother and me !
P.S. – very fun blog : )
I love the pink & purple one! Also I love my Mom for her caring, genuine personality. She is willing to help anyone for any reason even if it is a hard time for her. She is super mom!
Hey Becca! I love your blog! My favorite is the purple. The thing I love about my mom is her dedication and love to our family. Even though I live far away from her now, she writes to me weekly and we talk on the phone all of the time. She is our glue and ensures we all stick together. I also love that she still does family dinner every Sunday. All my siblings attend with their children and spouses. I attend when I am in NY :) It is a tradition she took over from my grandmother over 23 years ago. It keeps us all very close. Thank for the letting us share about our moms!
I love them all but my favorites are the black & silver one and the teal swirled one!
I love my Mom because she has always been there for me & loved me no matter what.
My favorites are the purple and green ones in the opposite corners. LOVE the gold angelfish on the purple one and the flowers on the green one! Love Mom because she never once said I told you so, though she’d have had plenty of reason to. :)
I love the green one!
I love my mom for all her recipes! Now I can make all the good stuff I grew up for my own family. I can always call my mom last minute from the grocery store say, “Hey mom, remember that stir fry? Yeah, the one with the beef and tomatoes. I want to make it tonight. I’m at the grocery store right now. What do I need?”

I love the blue plaid Twist and shout. What do I love about my Mom? Well unlike most women that I know, I didn’t get upset when I became older and realized I was turning into my own Mom… instead I adore the fact that I am so much like the woman that I so very much love and admire and I wish I was more like her still!
I LOVE the pink one! My Mom lives in NY (and I’m in Tucson), and is the GREATEST – I miss her so much! She is so patient, and understanding! So sad I’m not spending Mothers day with her!
Ooo, I love the black one! It looks like a tree! :)
What I love about my mom is that she’s different and she knows it. She’s not afraid to be different, nor is she ashamed. She’s got a lot of courage! :)
.-= Michelle´s last blog ..WW – A clean room =-.
I like the green one on the bottom, and so would my wonderful mother! She is the best. She puts her needs behind us, and she deserves so much more than I could give her.
I love the green one. I never really appreciated my mother until I became a mother myself. And my boys tell me that she is a pretty wonderful grandmother, too!
THANK YOU so much for handing these cute little round balls out at bloggy bootcamp! At first glance…had no clue what it was. Took me a minute… Now….I love mine. It took me a little while to figure out how to open it! I’m such a dork! I loved all the colors that you had but I adore the light gray w/black! I loved my mother’s sweet heart…she only spoke about what was good about a person…I try to practice this…wish I was better at it but I’m workin’ on it. I had a great time at the conference and hope Sits comes back to the Valley…I would be there in a minute! Kim
I love love love the black and silver one! One thing I love about my mom is that she gives me advice when I ask, but doesn’t push it on me and accepts when I don’t agree with her.
I love the black and silver one, and I also really like the red one!
What I love about my mom, well…she is my best friend! No matter what, she is there for me. I want to laugh, I call my mom and we laugh. If I need to cry or just rant and rave, she lets me get it all out of my system. I share everything with her and would be lost without her. I am blessed to have her as my mother!
I like the teal one on the top right. My mother would have loved any one of them. She passed away seven years ago but she is in my thoughts each and every day. She was a strong wonderful woman and a mom.
So don’t forget to give your mothers a big hug on mothers day.
First of all Becca, I have to say that I am so excited about your giveway. I have been wanting to try them out ever since you suggested them as a fan! I love the teal one on the top right. What I love about my mom is she is my best friend. She is the first person that I think of whenever I have news to share, big or small. I
Okay Becca you said only pick one!, but since you picked your 2 favorite… My favorites are the black one and the red, however, JD felt the need to chime in and he likes the lime green one. Anyways, my mom is such a great Grandma and I love that she is able to watch my little man since unfortunately I have to work. I am so grateful to her everyday for giving him a loving place to be.
Hi. I’m Pauline. My favorite is the red one. And the easter egg looking one. And the teal one. And if I win, I’ll happily take ANY one you wanna hand out. I’m in LOVE. And I love that my Mom is learning to rediscover herself after my father died three years ago. She just bought herself make up for the first time in her life and she’s 51! I think that’s adorable.
.-= Pauline´s last blog ..A fiesta in my head =-.
Hi, I’m Denise. My favorite is the pink one because its not close to a boy color. And my next is teal, because it’s close to a camo color. And the thing I love about my mom is that she is so right…as in when she told me as a teenager “one day we will be best friends” and i thought “oh, yah, right” and she WAS. :)
um, so my wonderful friend gave me one of these balm/bomb balls…my lips will never be the same.
(PS…for any fellow blondes, the cap does screw on. :)

I’m Amy and I like the red one and the blue one and the black one.
What I love about my mom is that I can tell her anything, I mean ANYTHING and she’s easy going about it. She’s always sending me home with food (typical italian) and I LOVE the way she laughs.
I just love her. :)

Lovin’ the teal one. I love that my mom loves all of my dear girlfriends and their kids as her own. Shameless bit of sucking up for you, Bec…hopefully it helps me win. :) Love and miss ya, girl.
My name is Becca too! And I love the purple ones the best. My favorite thing about my mom is that she is my best friend!!
Hi Becca! I’m liking the top right corner one: blue & the bottom right green one! I love mine too BTW! Thx for sharing!! My mom was always there for me growing up & at every game/event that I had. I grew up & we remained close. She’s getting older now & she’s changing. I hope I can always be there for my 4 girls & keep that closeness for a long time. =)
Hi! My name’s Aunt Sara…my favorite is the purple one :)
My Mom is my hero. She is understanding, funny, smart, generous and one of my favorite people in this world. I hope one day I can be half the woman she is.
I really love the light green one! I also really love my mom for not saying “paybacks are a *itch when it comes to all the things my daughter is doing that I did! Instead she tells me how I can get through it!
Hi Becca, have to make a comment to say hello to you!! HI!!
I like the purple one. I love my mom because I can always, always count on her. She has been and is the best teacher in my life. My mom is a wonderful example of the best mother and wife and I hope to be just like her when I grow up.
I hope you have a great Mother’s Day, Becca, you are a wondeful mother and your boys are lucky to have you!
Judy Powell
I love the green one, very cute…how come I didn’t find these in Hawaii?? anyway, I love my Mom because she never judged me, she just loved me every day of her life, and even tho I miss her SO very much, I try to carry on her wise way of loving everyone around her, no matter what.
I really like the teal one! When I came home from school, I knew my Mom was always there ready to share the joy of my exciting day or to encourage and listen on those bad days. It was a comfort to know when I got off the bus she would be there waiting. I miss her very much. I love you Mom.
I like the black and silver one, too … Can I enter more than once??! The T & P I ordered from Amazon came just in time. Amanda discovered my peacock feathered one, and had nearly ‘eaten me out of house and home,’ so to speak, LOL. I’m surprised she hasn’t commented here yet. Susan too.
Hi :) I am Jess and I found your blog from Chelsea’s. I like the Black one. I love my mom because When I was on bedrest for 16 weeks during my pregnancy, she did absolutely everything for me, mrom paying my bills, to just coming over to keep me company. She is my best friend. :D

Hello there! :) Found your blog via Twitter, very nice! I guess, if I had to pick a favorite, I’d go with the black one, like Jess. One thing I love about my Mom is that she’s always there for me and always trying to help in whatever why she can. It really means a lot me, especially in uncertain times like these!

Hi I’m Shey ;) . I love my mom. Talk to her all the time. She’s always there for me and I am here for her. I love the black one! xo
.-= SheyB´s last blog ..Common Question =-.
I’m Liz. Anyone who knows me knows that I didn’t grow up with my own mom. My foster mother was and still is a mother to me more than my real mom ever was. And so it goes. Sadly for Mother’s day this year I’m apart from my kids for the very first time, and it hurts tremendously.
I like the pink one. It reflects my personality pretty well, but the swirled teal one is more me…very blue.
