Last night, we found out that Michael lost his retainer.
Well, not his retainer, but his NTI appliance. It’s just easier to say retainer.
Jack knocked Michael’s retainer case off of the counter while he was washing his hands.
Jack saw the retainer fall out of the case.
Jack said he heard a “scratching noise” when he closed the bathroom door
(caused by “Michael’s retainer scratching on the door when I closed it”).
Ahem.
Did I mention that at the time, Michael and Jack were playing with these:
and that an NTI appliance looks like this:
Yes, ladies and gentlemen… It’s clear.
And approximately the size of a Lego.
Michael “looked” for it.
Jack “looked” for it.
Dad even “looked” for it with a flashlight.
Then Mom looked for it.
Because Moms rock like that.

Mom’s find everything – except their kids once in a while. Because they hide too, and sometimes they hide their Gramma’s camera in odd shaped things in the closet. And when you find it and ask them (Jack) did you put the camera in there? And he says (after two days of looking and looking) Nope – I don’t think so. But maybe………..
But, thank goodness that Mom found it and Gracie didn’t.
Mom’s do rock! I’m always the one who finds the hamster than “escaped”. Great job, Mom!

When Dad, Michael, and Jack were “looking” for the retainer, were they looking with their eyes opened or closed? Did they look in the area it was dropped? Just sayin’…
You go girl!! I seem to be the one who finds everything tooo..I think its just instinct..what would they do without us!!!
Okay,Dad and Michael and Jack tried to look for it but the legos got in their way and they decided to build things with the legos as they were looking. It happens, and that is what guys do. But mom on the other hand was on a mission and found it in the middle of the huge wonderful thing that Dad, Michael and Jack had built. And that is what moms do. Enjoy your day.

What is it about men and children that they cannot see something that is right there? I can go tell them to get something and tell them exactly where it is and they will not see it! Yes, Mom’s do rock!
