Steve has been getting lots of practice with his snake stick…
Our neighbor called tonight to tell us about a rattlesnake he found in his driveway.
By the time I got outside with the camera, the snake was in the fancy orange snake bucket.
I’m so proud of him.
In that weird Tucson-wife sort of way.

Yes, that is my living room.
And yes, the rattlesnake is still in the bucket.
I obviously haven’t processed this whole situation yet.

It must be the lack of sleep catching up with you…
And hasn’t anybody told that stupid thing that it’s supposed to be in hibernation?!?

And where is this snake now? Okay, my hubby used to have snakes…lots of snakes, and we even had some in our bedroom for awhile…but in a glass enclosure.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!? I CAN NOT believe you let them bring that THING into your house!!!!!! Have fun today!! Wish we could be there! Love you!
We have two lizards, but I don’t think I could handle a snake! What a cool wife you are! :-)

I will take misquitos any day of the week over a snake. I got chills just seeing the picture!
Strangely, we haven’t run across any rattled snakes in our neighborhood in recent years. Maybe they were scared away by all of the noise in our house! ;) Whatever the reason, I’m quite content “as is.” Rattled snakes are not fun neighbors…or housemates.
