What-I-Learned-This-Week

We’re going to keep this brief. I hope you’ll understand why.

This week, I learned that kids can handle exactly whatseemslike52weeks three weeks in a row with Daddy in Maryland.

How do I know?

Because this is what happened tonight when Michael emptied the water out of the bathtub.

The water that Jack put in it.

The “fun” water.

“Fun” because it had dog hair in it (yes, you read that right) from the floor cleaner. I forgot that after I cleaned the floors today I left the tank in the bathtub and forgot to clean it out. So, when Jack filled the tub, the water had dog hair in it.

Apparently, that’s what makes “fun water.”

And Michael let it out before he jumped in.

I’m sure the camera didn’t egg him on at all.

While I calm him down, why don’t you head on over to Musings of A Housewife and see what everyone else learned this week?

Jack, I feel for you, it would have been like going swimming in a lake instead of a nice clean pool. When you come here we will take you out in the lake and you can swim with the dog hairs, and fish, and frogs, and turtles, and maybe some other little critters.

How is Marilyn?

Ack must have also been the witching hour. Combine that with the hairy water, that is a recipe for a meltdown. Hopefully today is better. I love that you took pictures though.

Oh my goodness – I’m not sure who I feel more sorry for – that little boy, or you dealing with that little boy. At least the camera was nearby. You’ll get LOTS of sympathy from me!!
