Michael couldn’t sleep last night. Do you know what that means?
It means that Mom couldn’t sleep last night.
At 9:30, I gave him a snack and had him sleep in my bed (because Dad is at Marilyn’s house).
At 9:45, we were watching the news. He asked what an SUV is, and I explained the definition. When he asked me to define vehicular manslaughter, I turned off the t.v.
At 10:00, he finally fell asleep.
Michael woke up at 5 a.m. and went to the bathroom. He jumped got back into bed and tossed and turned for a bit.
At 5:10:
“Mom, who are the three musketeers?”
mumbling “I don’t know.”
“What? You don’t know? Really?”
“Michael… it is 5 a.m. I don’t know who the three musketeers are at 5 a.m. It’s a candy bar.”
5:20:
“Mom, you know that really good Japanese restaurant where they cook in front of you?”
“Yup.”
“We should have gone there for your Anniversary. That would have been a good idea.”
“Ok.”
“Are you awake?”
“Yup.”

See, he is taking after Gramma Teetsie. Tell him to call me and we can talk. (By the way, any way you could put spell check on the blog?)

Kids are so random – gotta love that about them. I agree the Japanese steak house is always a good idea.

I hate that! Boo did it last week, and I about lost it. She gets up, I get up and that means…the dog gets up.

I don’t miss that! Hang in there… eventually you won’t be able to drag his behind out of bed.
